FAQ ABOUT OUR FREE MOVING TRUCK
Our Clients, members of our Home Support Team and Community Organizations are welcome to use our moving truck for FREE!!! Giving back to our clients and community is something we’re very passionate about, so we took our customer service to the next level and purchased a MOVING TRUCK to better serve!
Q. What can I fit in a 15' Moving Truck?
A. You can easily load a king size mattress, washer and dryer, fridge, tall or short dressers, and a 3 seater sofa in this spacious truck plus moving boxes.
Q. How tall is the truck?
A. The truck is 10' 6"
Q. What's included?
A. Ramp for easy loading PLUS we've added furniture blankets, hand truck, appliance dolly, shoulder dolly and reusable moving totes!
Q. How much does it cost to rent our moving truck?
A. Take this in: Our moving truck is FREE for our past and current clients, local community organizations and authorized members of our home support team!
Q. How Do I Make a Reservation?
A. In order to reserve a moving truck, you need to submit a request. We'll then contact you to discuss detail.
Q. Who Can Drive the Moving Truck?
A. The driver of the moving truck must be 21 years or older and must have a valid driver's license and car insurance with comprehensive collision and liability insurance coverage for 15-foot box trucks.
Please Note: Only the individuals listed on the rental agreement are authorized to drive the moving truck. Each driver must be present at the time you pickup the truck. Each driver must be able to provide a copy of their driver’s license and auto insurance cards at least one business day before the time that you are planning to pick up the truck. This is so we can contact the insurance agent(s) and make sure each driver is covered for driving a rental truck.
Q. How Long Can I Use the Moving Truck?
A. With your reservation, we allow you to use the moving truck for up to 48 hours, but we are flexible in scheduling if the moving truck is available!
Q. What is your Mileage Fee?
A. Those utilizing the free moving truck can drive up to 150 miles for free. Any mileage over that amount will be charged a mileage fee of $1.19 per mile.
Q. How Much Does a Paid Rental Cost?
A. If you need the Moving Truck for more than 48 hours, the rental fee is $29.95 per day as well as the mileage fee ($1.19 per mile). If you compare these fees to what other local truck rentals cost, you still save money.
Q. Is It Really That Easy?A. YES! Our moving truck is free to use for our clients, local community organizations and authorized members of our home support team-just don't forget you need to request a reservation, provide copies of driver’s license(s), and verifiable comprehensive collision and liability insurance coverage for 15-foot box trucks.
When you arrive, we will give you tips on driving the moving truck successfully and remind you of the mileage limits.
The only thing that isn’t free is the gas in the moving truck. Before you return the truck to us, you need to refill the gas tank. If you drive under 150 miles, that should only be a minimal cost!
